All teams are encouraged to participate in all races. This will need some careful management of your riders. Refer to pages 2 & 3 of the handbook for the description of each race. Refer to the Event Day Handbook for a description of each race.
First event/s: Handicapped heats, 6 in total. Each team expected to provide 1 rider for each race. 6 riders required for each team
Second event/s: Mini Pedal Prix Race – 4 riders required.
Third event: Snapdragon race. Each team is expected to provide 1 rider for each team.
Fourth event/s: Handicap finals, 3 in total. The fastest qualifier for each team’s handicapped event will go into one of the finals – 1 rider required for each team.
Summary of times for the day
7:00am: Set up. All teams advised to arrive and set up before 8am.
8:00am: Venue Open. All teams to set-up and supply own marquees and racing equipment.
8:30am: Scrutineering will take place inside the main entrance gate, western side of the track.
8:45am: Official’s briefing. All marshals, team managers and other officials must attend.
9:00am: Official opening, introduction and acknowledgements.
9:10am: Entrance gates closed and track cleared for warm up practice.
9:20am: Riders for heat one handicap race to make their way to start line.
9:30am: Handicap Heat 1
10:00am: Handicap Heat 2
10:30am: Handicap Heat 3
11:00am: Handicap Heat 4
11:30am: Handicap Heat 5
12:00pm: Handicap Heat 6
12:30pm: Snapdragon briefing and race to start
LUNCH BREAK
1:30pm: Div 3 final
2.00pm: Div 2 final
2.35pm: Div 1 final
3.00pm: Presentations and pack up
FIRST AID
• First Aid Station: Refer to map on page 5 of 2025 Handbook for location. This area will have a dedicated official roster throughout the day, however there may be times when this appointed official will not be in the marquee. To ensure all accidents are attended to in the most prompt manner the MC (official) will call the official to the marquee to attend to injuries. The marquee will be equipped with medical supplies such as bandages, antiseptic, splints, and a first aid kit. Ice will be available from the BBQ area which is close by.
• First Aid Personnel: These officials are first aid trained only and are expected to attend to minor injuries and in the event that more serious issues occur they will be able to access assistance required and call for professional assistance or direct an injured person on the steps required for treatment.
